We’ve used this torch quite often to sear our meats after a sous vide session, such as in this video.

Why we love it: It’s great for torch searing after a sous vide, after a low ‘n slow or cold smoke, or for any other occasion.  For all you charcoalers out there, it’s awesome for getting your pile lit nice and quick.  Forget chimney starters or wax cubes; they are rendered moot if you have this gun.  And to top it off, it’s reasonably priced.

Highly recommended.
